About the Company
The client is a leading specialty chemicals organization with a strong presence in the Paper & Pulp industry, delivering innovative process and performance-enhancing solutions to some of the largest paper manufacturers across India and international markets. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of specialty chemicals that improve productivity, operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability across the paper manufacturing value chain.
Roles and Responsibilites
- Develop and execute the overall sales and business growth strategy for the Speciality Chemicals.
- Drive revenue, profitability, market share, and customer acquisition across key geographies.
- Lead strategic account management initiatives and negotiate large-scale commercial agreements.
- Collaborate with Technical Services, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption.
- Drive pricing, commercial excellence, forecasting, budgeting, and demand planning processes.
- Identify new market opportunities, product applications, and growth segments within the Paper & Pulp ecosystem.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to develop effective market strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales teams across regions.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and customer engagements.
Skills and qualifications
- A demonstrated track record of building and scaling B2B revenue organisations, ideally as CBO, CRO, or Head of Sales in an industrial, specialty chemicals, industrial automation, or B2B technology business. Engineering and/or MBA qualifications from a premier institute are required.
- Deep familiarity with the Indian manufacturing sector is strongly preferred. Direct experience in pulp & paper is an advantage; equivalent experience in adjacent process industries (chemicals, mining & steel, food & beverage) will also be considered.
- Prior experience leading multi-function commercial organisations spanning new business, account management, and procurement or supply chain will be valued.
- Familiarity with AI-led or software-plus-hardware business models is desirable.
