About the Company
Our client is an early-stage consumer-tech start-up based out of Gurgaon, backed by marquee VCs and led by seasoned founders from the industry.
Roles and Responsibilites
Design and build the data platform from the ground up — from event capture to real-time pipelines.
Create event streams for swipes, likes, views, and profile interactions.
Implement feature stores and embedding pipelines for matchmaking and feed ranking.
Collaborate closely with ML teams to support training, inference, and experimentation.
Define standards for data quality, governance, observability, and security.
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-impact data engineering team.
Skills and qualifications
5–10 years of building scalable data platform in fast-paced environments.
Deep experience with RecSys, ML platforms, or content feeds.
Skilled in batch + streaming architectures and ML-ready data pipelines.
Fluent in tools like Kafka, Spark, Flink, Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, Feast, Redis.
A strong systems thinker with a product mindset and ML awareness.
Bonus: Graph modeling, privacy-aware infra (GDPR, PII), or A/B testing platforms.
