Roles and Responsibilites
a. Responsible for leading and managing all NPD design and development activities as per an annual business plan.
b. It involves setting strategic direction, managing resources, fostering design innovation.
c. Managing the end-to-end process, ensuring the successful execution and launching of planned R&D projects.
d. Product improvements of existing products.
e. New vendor development for new Raw materials, processes and technology.
f. Technology road mapping.
g. R&D projects reporting.
h. Team development, knowledge transfer and training.
Skills and qualifications
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical, MBBS, or Bachelor’s/Master’s in Product Design
- Preferred Institutions: Tier 1 or Tier 2 (specifically for Mechanical Engineering candidates)
- Industry Background: Manufacturing sector (Design & Development)
- Minimum Year of Experience: 18+ years
