About the Company
Our client is a well-established diversified group with deep experience in consumer services and digital ventures. They are launching a dedicated footwear arm and seeks a strategic leader to build, scale, and lead this vertical. It is a 0 to 1 journey. As CBO of footwear business, you will be the founding executive, driving vision, growth, and execution.
Roles and Responsibilites
- Define and drive the vision, mission, and strategic roadmap for the footwear entity.
- Lead day-to-day execution, ensuring operational robustness, process scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Create and roll out product innovations, partnerships, and channel strategies for revenue growth.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-calibre leadership team across all functions (tech, operations, marketing, supply chain).
- Manage financials – budgeting, forecasting, capital allocation, and profitability.
- Oversee brand positioning, digital marketing, and customer engagement strategies.
- Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Serve as the link between the business, board, investors, and strategic stakeholders.
-Strengthen positioning and customer engagement across digital channels.
-Identify and implement new technologies and innovations to improve operations
-Represent the company with stakeholders, board and strategic partners.
Skills and qualifications
- Qualified CA / MBA from a leading institute.
- 15+ years’ experience with significant roles in consumer goods, e-commerce or retail (footwear/leisure sector preferred).
- Track record of building and scaling new ventures or business units from scratch.
- Strong P&L ownership, analytical rigor, and strategic mindset.
- Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders.
