Roles and Responsibilites
- Lead sales planning, development, deployment, and achievement of business targets across the region.
- Manage existing business while driving new business opportunities across the UK and EU.
- Explore and develop new opportunities beyond current channels or products, including private label ventures and ethnic/specialty channels.
- Map the entire ethnic retail distribution landscape across the UK and EU.
- Travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time) across the region to identify and plug distribution gaps, ensure appropriate retail pricing, and maintain strong in-store visibility and merchandising.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of market trends, insights, and research data.
- Identify distribution gaps and implement actions to expand coverage and strengthen market presence.
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to enhance coverage, deepen distribution, and improve visibility.
- Partner with the team lead to conceptualize, plan, and implement brand promotion cycles, marketing initiatives, POS materials, collaterals, and on-ground activations.
Skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration.
- 6–8 years of experience in sales and distribution within the FMCG industry, with at least 3 years of experience in the UK & EU markets.
- Strong network with leading clients and distributors, with a proven record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Prior experience in the food/FMCG sector is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of the time) across the UK & EU.
