Roles and Responsibilites
-Establish and sustain strategic relationships with key wholesalers, retailers, and distributors to strengthen the brand’s footprint and drive portfolio growth in the assigned territory.
-Design and execute sales strategies to capture key markets, enhance market penetration, and build a dominant regional presence.
-Plan and roll out promotional campaigns and trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with key partners to boost brand visibility and sales.
-Manage sales planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to deliver consistent, profitable growth.
-Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting, including insights on pricing, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
-Analyze market trends, category performance, and innovation opportunities to guide business decisions and future planning.
-Partner with internal teams to execute customer agreements, improve revenue performance, and address market needs effectively.
-Identify process improvements across customer engagement and supply chain operations to enhance efficiency and service quality.
-Lead the Trade Development Manager program by defining strategic KPIs and monitoring performance to drive excellence across the territory.
Skills and qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline (MBA is a strong plus).
-7+ years of proven experience in sales, preferably within retail / wholesale / distributor-led environments.
-Strong proficiency in MS Office applications — especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
-Must be fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
-Prior experience leading teams / managing direct reports is preferred.
