About the Company
Our client is a legacy QSR (quick service restaurant) based in Bengaluru
Roles and Responsibilites
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement scalable operational strategies aligned with the brand’s growth goals.
- Expansion Planning: Lead site selection, new store openings, and market entry strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other executives to align operations with financial and marketing goals
- Standardization: Ensure consistent service, food quality, and cleanliness across all outlets.
- Process Optimization: Streamline kitchen workflows, order fulfillment, and inventory management to reduce waste and improve speed.
- Technology Integration: Oversee implementation of POS systems, mobile ordering platforms, and kitchen automation tools.
- Cost Control: Monitor labor, food, and overhead costs to maintain profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare operational budgets and track performance against financial targets.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
Skills and qualifications
- Operational Excellence: Expertise in streamlining restaurant workflows, optimizing kitchen throughput, and managing high-volume service environments.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute growth strategies, including market expansion, franchising, and cost control initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Building: Strong people management skills to lead multi-unit operations, mentor regional managers, and foster a performance-driven culture.
- Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, and vendor negotiations to maintain profitability.
- Customer Experience Management: Deep understanding of customer service standards and tools to monitor satisfaction and loyalty.
- Technology Integration: Familiarity with POS systems, mobile ordering platforms, and restaurant analytics tools.
- Crisis & Change Management: Ability to lead through operational disruptions, regulatory changes, or brand reputation challenges.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is typically required. An MBA or equivalent is preferred for senior roles.
- Experience:
- 15+ years in restaurant or hospitality operations, with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record managing multi-unit or franchise operations.
- Franchise Management Experience: Especially valuable in QSR brands with franchise models.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Comfort with KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to manage diverse teams and adapt to regional customer preferences.
