About the Company
The organisation is a fast-growing, PE-backed consumer electricals company with a diverse product portfolio spanning lighting, fans, switchgear, and residential wires. Known for strong manufacturing capabilities and consistent product quality, the company has built a solid presence across South and West India and is now scaling aggressively into new markets.
Roles and Responsibilites
- Own revenue, sales planning, and P&L for the North region
- Expand distribution footprint across General Trade, Modern Trade & Institutional channels
- Drive category penetration across LED, fans, switchgear, residential wires (LDC), and new consumer electrical categories
- Lead and mentor a regional sales team; set monthly targets, reviews, and performance metrics
- Strengthen dealer/retailer relationships and onboard new channel partners
- Ensure high-quality execution of schemes, pricing strategy, merchandising and market activations
- Work closely with central leadership for demand forecasting, inventory planning and GTM strategy
- Monitor competitive landscape and deploy proactive market interventions
Skills and qualifications
- 12–18 years of experience in consumer durables / electrical / FMCG-electricals
- Strong exposure to North India markets with deep distribution understanding
- Proven experience in scaling regional business and leading multi-city sales teams
- P&L mindset, strong channel relationships, high execution capability
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing organisation
