The organization works closely with ecosystem partners to design, fund, and scale programs that drive sustainable job creation and long-term social impact.
Roles and Responsibilites
- Market Research & Opportunity Mapping
- Conduct detailed research to identify sectors, geographies, and organizations
aligned to the company's mission.
- Build landscape maps of NGOs, social enterprises, accelerators, ecosystem
players, and innovations.
- Develop profiles, databases, and rigorous benchmarking of potential partners.
- Identify gaps, opportunities, and white spaces where the company can deploy capital for
highest impact.
- Program Building & Operationalization
- Help design and operationalize the full grant-making journey:
o organization scouting
o evaluation preparation
o documentation
o onboarding
o monitoring processes
- Build templates, SOPs, checklists, and frameworks for smooth execution.
- Collaborate with product/tech teams to build or refine the grant-management
platform.
- Execution & Project Management
- Run the day-to-day execution of research, outreach, and organizational
assessments.
- Track progress, maintain timelines, and ensure high-quality output.
- Coordinate across internal stakeholders (impact, product, legal, compliance,
leadership).
- Maintain high ownership and hustle to keep the platform moving forward.
- Stakeholder & Beneficiary Outreach
- Initiate outreach to potential beneficiary organizations.
- Set up calls, collect data, conduct initial assessments, and prepare summary
briefs.
- Build strong working relationships across NGOs, intermediaries, and sector
experts.
- Analytical Support
- Synthesize insights into clear reports, pipelines, funding opportunities, and
recommendations.
- Prepare decision memos and presentations for leadership.
- Support the creation of evaluation tools and early-stage diligence frameworks.
- Learning & Continuous Improvement
- Track global best practices in grant operations, philanthropic innovation, and
jobs/livelihoods.
- Support iterations to improve the grant-making platform’s quality and efficiency.
Skills and qualifications
Must-Have
- MBA or a postgraduate degree in management, economics, public policy, or
related fields
(Top-tier or reputed institutions preferred)
- 8–10 years of experience in program management, research, consulting or
policy
- Strong analytical skills with experience conducting deep research and
synthesizing insights
- Demonstrated ability to build processes, launch / pilot programs, or scale
operations
- Excellent communication and structured thinking
- High ownership, high bias for execution, and ability to operate without handholding
- Comfort with ambiguity, multi-tasking, and startup-like environments
Nice-to-Have (Not mandatory)
- Experience in skilling, entrepreneurship, livelihoods, or development sector
- Exposure to grant-making or working with NGOs/social enterprises
- Experience with CRM / grant / pipeline management systems
- Learning agility and intellectual curiosity
