About the Company

Our client is an early-stage fintech company backed by marquee venture funds. We are looking for a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to collaborate closely with the founders and lead the tech team in building an exceptional product that operates at high levels of concurrency and scale.

Roles and Responsibilites

Lead the technology strategy and vision for the company, aligning it with business goals.

Work closely with founders to define product roadmaps and develop high-quality technical solutions.

Oversee the architecture and design of scalable, high-performance systems that can handle significant concurrency.

Build and manage a high-performing tech team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

Establish best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing methodologies, and deployment processes.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company's tech strategies are forward-thinking.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and marketing, to drive the product vision.

Ensure the security and integrity of our software systems and data.

Monitor and manage technology budgets and resources effectively.

Skills and qualifications

6-10 years of professional experience in a technology leadership role, preferably in fintech or consumer-tech startups.

Strong technical background with expertise in building scalable systems and managing high-concurrency environments.

Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
