The organisation is now entering its next phase of growth, with a sharper focus on category depth, margin expansion, supply-side optimisation, and new product innovation.
Roles and Responsibilites
Own the end-to-end category P&L, including revenue, gross margins, pricing, and profitability across channels.
Define and execute the category vision, assortment strategy, and pricing architecture grounded in consumer insights and market trends.
Take full ownership of inventory and working capital, driving optimal turns, ageing control, replenishment, and liquidation decisions.
Lead the NPD roadmap and lifecycle, accelerating go-to-market while maintaining margin and inventory discipline.
Partner closely with sourcing, supply chain, and manufacturing to drive cost optimisation, vendor strategy, quality, and scalability.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, planning, operations, and finance to ensure seamless category execution.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing category team, setting clear KPIs and strengthening category management capabilities.
Skills and qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in category management or merchandising across jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, or women-led consumer categories, with strong offline exposure.
Demonstrated ownership of gross margins, inventory, and working capital in a consumer or retail-led business.
Strong experience leading NPD and supply-side collaboration from concept through scale.
High commercial and analytical acumen, with a deep understanding of category economics.
Ability to balance product creativity with profitability and operational scale.
Strong cross-functional leadership and senior stakeholder management capabilities.
