Zonal Business Head (West & South)

Roles and Responsibilites
· Develop Zone Sales Strategy: Create and execute zone-specific sales plans aligned with national business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
· Achieve Revenue & Margin Targets: Deliver zonal sales performance across pipes, tanks, and fittings while expanding market presence through effective retail channel management.
· Drive Market & Network Expansion: Identify new markets, build distribution opportunities, and expand the dealer/distributor network in underpenetrated territories.
· Lead & Develop the Zonal Team: Manage regional sales managers and field teams; set KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and build a high-achievement culture.
· Strengthen Channel & Key Customer Relationships: Build strong partnerships with major dealers, retailers, and wholesalers; enhance customer satisfaction and resolve escalations.
· Monitor Retail Execution: Ensure optimal retail coverage, merchandising standards, availability, and visibility of all product lines across the zone.
· Execute Marketing & Trade Initiatives: Coordinate with marketing to deploy zonal campaigns; evaluate effectiveness of promotions, schemes, and new product rollouts.
· Ensure Financial & Operational Discipline: Oversee budgets, expenses, forecasting, credit management, and compliance with pricing policies and company SOPs.
· Optimize Inventory & Supply Chain: Review distributor/dealer inventory levels, ensure healthy stock rotation, and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
· Report & Analyze Performance: Provide regular MIS updates, analyze sales trends, identify gaps/opportunities, and recommend corrective actions for sustained growth.
Skills and qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
· 15 Years’ of Sales Management Experience in Plywood / Laminate / Sanitary ware / Paints / Glass or any building material Products
