designed to help multi-location brands establish and scale their digital presence, manage customer engagement, reputation, transactions, and drive local-market growth.
Roles and Responsibilites
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Country Head / Country Manager to lead
growth across the South African market. This leader will be responsible for market entry, revenue
acceleration, customer acquisition, strategic partnerships, and local team leadership. The ideal
candidate will bring deep regional business insight, strong SaaS go-to-market expertise, and capability in managing multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts, especially for multi-location brands navigating digital transformation and hyperlocal commerce.
Strategic Leadership & Market Growth
● Define and drive the Go-To-Market strategy for the region with clear revenue,
adoption and customer success goals.
● Own P&L, performance metrics, and growth forecasts for the market.
● Identify market opportunities and customer segments where our clients AI-driven platform
delivers maximum impact.
Sales & Business Development
● Build, manage, and scale a high-performing regional sales team.
● Secure strategic enterprise contracts with multi-location brands in retail, F&B, BFSI, automotive,
healthcare, and other verticals.
● Drive enterprise pipeline, deal closures, pricing negotiations, and account expansion.
● Foster long-term relationships with regional conglomerates, franchises, and digital partners.
Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
● Establish partnerships with agency networks, digital ecosystem partners, technology
integrators, and local media platforms.
● Collaborate with Google, Meta, telecom partners, and local digital channels to strengthen
integrated value propositions.
● Represent the organisation in external forums, industry events, and strategic partner
engagements.
Customer Success & Adoption
● Drive customer success initiatives to ensure high product adoption, ROI generation, and
retention for clients.
● Work with internal product & tech teams to ensure platform localization, compliance, and
functional relevance for local markets.
● Develop a scalable customer success framework with KPIs aligned to business and client
outcomes.
Cross-Functional Leadership
● Lead local talent, build operational excellence, and collaborate with global product, marketing,
and GTM teams.
● Share customer insights and competitive market intelligence to inform platform enhancements
and go-to-market execution.
● Ensure brand representation and compliance with regional regulatory standards.
Skills and qualifications
Professional Experience
○ 18+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales, digital marketing, or marketing/advertising technology leadership, with 5+ years in a regional leadership role.
○ Proven track record of closing enterprise and multi-location brand deals across
South Africa.
● Education
○ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
MBA preferred.
