Roles and Responsibilites

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Drive regional sales performance by achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets aligned with business objectives.
  2. Develop and execute territory plans to expand distribution, strengthen channel partnerships, and increase market penetration across General Trade, Modern Trade (LFR), and Institutional segments.
  3. Manage and grow distributor and dealer networks by improving productivity, ensuring optimal stock movement, and maintaining healthy margins across the value chain.
  4. Identify new business opportunities, onboard retail outlets and institutional clients, and expand the overall sales footprint within the assigned region.
  5. Lead customer engagements through structured visits, presentations, product demonstrations, and value-based selling to enhance brand presence and conversions.
  6. Collaborate closely with national and regional distributor teams to implement integrated sales strategies and drive sell-out performance.
  7. Strengthen Modern Trade relationships by working with store managers, promoters, and retail teams to improve visibility, merchandising, and in-store customer experience.
  8. Drive institutional sales through relationship management, contract negotiations, bulk order acquisition, and pipeline development.
  9. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and demand forecasts to inform sales planning and strategic decisions.
  10. Ensure effective execution of promotional campaigns, pricing policies, and trade schemes within the region.
  11. Track sales performance through regular reporting, MIS analysis, and actionable insights to optimize outcomes.
  12. Oversee collections and credit controls to ensure timely payments and healthy working capital management.
  13. Support regional marketing initiatives including product launches, promotions, and local activation programs.
  14. Mentor and coordinate with distributor sales teams and promoters to enhance capability, engagement, and performance.

Skills and qualifications

10 - 15 years of experience in Sales

Extensive experience in General Trade in West Region

MT and Institutional experience is an advantage
