D2C Head - Fashion/Apparel

Roles and Responsibilites
- Business & P&L Ownership
Own the P&L for D2C channels (web & app).
Drive revenue growth while maintaining contribution margins and profitability.
Own D2C strategy, planning, forecasting, and performance reviews.
Improve conversion rate, AOV, retention, and repeat purchase metrics.
Partner with technology and product teams on UX, checkout optimization, personalization, and platform stability.
- Performance Marketing & Growth
Lead customer acquisition across Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers, and app installs.
Own and optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV across acquisition and retention channels.
Work closely with brand, content, and creative teams to ensure alignment with target audiences.
Own the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition to loyalty.
Drive CRM programs across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, and SMS.
Build initiatives to improve repeat frequency and customer lifetime value.
- Merchandising & Drops Planning
Partner with product, design, and supply chain teams on drop calendars and D2C-exclusive launches.
Ensure inventory visibility, availability, and sell-through efficiency on owned platforms.
- Data, Analytics & Insights
Track and analyze core D2C metrics including GMV, net revenue, CAC, LTV, conversion, AOV, and retention.
Use data to drive experimentation, funnel optimization, and personalization across web and app.
- Customer Experience & Operations
Own the end-to-end D2C customer experience, including delivery, returns, refunds, and coordination with customer support teams.
Drive improvements in NPS, app ratings, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
Build, lead, and mentor high-performing teams across D2C, growth, CRM, and analytics.
Work closely with brand, technology, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to align D2C priorities with overall business goals.
Skills and qualifications
MBA from a premier business school preferred.
Background in top-tier consulting is an added advantage.
10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, or business leadership roles.
Strong exposure to fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, D2C, or omnichannel retail.
Proven track record of owning numbers, teams, and cross-functional outcomes.
