Roles and Responsibilites
The finance Controller is deployed to lead financial governance, controllership, and compliance. This role will be critical in strengthening financial controls, ensuring statutory compliance, and enabling leadership with accurate, timely financial insights.
- Own end-to-end financial controllership, including books of accounts, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Ensure statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits).
- Drive internal controls, SOPs, and process improvements across multi-location operations.
- Partner with business teams on budgeting, cost controls, and variance analysis.
- Manage external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, and banks.
- Support leadership with MIS, cash flow management, and decision-ready insights.
Skills and qualifications
- Qualified CA with 7–10 years of experience in controllership/finance roles.
- Strong understanding of compliance, accounting standards, and process design.
- Team & stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing, execution-heavy environment.
- Okay with 6 day work week.
