Roles and Responsibilites

The primary focus of this role is to drive regional media sales revenue and ensure sustained year-on-year growth through aggressive market expansion and increased advertiser penetration. You will be expected to strengthen our presence with priority clients and major agency accounts, fostering long-term partnerships that result in consistent repeat business. Beyond direct sales, you will lead and mentor a dedicated team of over 15 media specialists, guiding them through the nuances of closing deals with key decision-makers while maintaining high standards of governance. Additionally, you will build strategic alliances with allied media partners to create integrated marketing solutions and act as a thought leader by disseminating industry insights and feedback to internal stakeholders for the development of new sponsorship programs and media products.

Skills and qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of managing large-scale revenue targets, specifically within the 100Cr range, and brings extensive experience in the media sales or advertising industry. You must demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities, with prior success in managing both direct and indirect reporting lines in a high-pressure environment. A deep network of established relationships with major media agencies and brand marketers is essential, as is the ability to deliver senior-level presentations to leadership forums. We require a strategic thinker who is highly proficient in revenue reporting and pipeline management, and who can act as a subject matter expert in experiential media and monetization strategies.
