Our client is a leading Indian Fintech firm with deep expertise in consumer finance, digital lending, and payments. They combine established retail credit operations with rapid digital innovation, serving millions of customers through branches and omnichannel platforms. The organization maintains strong risk, compliance, and partner ecosystems while investing aggressively in AI/ML and cloud-first engineering.

• Partner with executives and business units to identify, prioritize, and articulate strategic AI use cases.
• Define the firm’s AI build-vs-buy strategy and identify proprietary vs. commodity capabilities.
• Lead end-to-end AI product development: ideation, data exploration, model development, deployment, integration, and production monitoring.
• Manage an agile, multidisciplinary team of data scientists, data engineers, and software engineers to deliver on milestones and quality targets.
• Scope data ingestion, cleaning, labeling, and pipeline architecture prior to resource allocation.
• Prototype and validate solutions with AI tools and low-code pilots before full engineering investment.
• Establish monitoring and guardrails for drift, bias, hallucinations, and feedback loops to ensure reliability and safety.
• Drive integrations with enterprise platforms (AWS, Databricks, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.) via robust APIs and data contracts.
• Ensure governance, privacy-by-design, auditability, and compliance with InfoSec/legal requirements.
• Own customer pilots, define success criteria, enable Sales/Customer Success with demos/narratives, and drive ROI realization.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another quantitative field from a top-tier institute; MBA a plus
• 7 - 10 years of product management experience, with 3+ years shipping AI/ML-powered features (LLMs, RAG, NLP, detection, vision)
• Experience with AWS, Salesforce, Databricks, Tableau and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases), vector DBs (FAISS, Pinecone), and LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Understanding of model risk management, secure AI patterns, and enterprise compliance.
• Experience managing budgets, evaluating SaaS contracts, and calculating NPV/ROI.
• Prior startup or zero-to-one product experience
