Roles and Responsibilites
- Procurement Excellence
o Lead procurement of key commodities: metals (metal sheets), electronics, and consumables (packaging materials, glue, screws).
o Develop cost-effective sourcing strategies while ensuring quality and timely availability.
- Vendor Ecosystem Management
o Build and strengthen a robust vendor ecosystem across categories.
o Establish long-term partnerships and monitor supplier performance.
- Working Capital & Cost Optimization
o Optimize working capital through efficient procurement cycles and payment terms.
o Monitor and improve KPIs: procurement cost per unit, lead times, and supplier efficiency.
- Inventory Management
o Implement A/B/C categorization for effective inventory control.
o Enhance visibility and accuracy through ERP and analytics tools.
- Supply Planning
o Develop agile supply plans based on cost and lead time considerations.
o Align supply chain operations with production schedules and sales forecasts.
o Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, production, and logistics.
Skills and qualifications
- Qualification
o Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Expeirence
o 6-12 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, with atleast 5 years in a leadership role within consumer durables or manufacturing.
- Skiils
o Expertise in commodity procurement and vendor ecosystem management.
o Ability to drive cost efficiency and operational excellence under dynamic conditions.
o Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
