Roles and Responsibilites
- Product Design and Technology Development
o Lead design and development of fan products with expertise in BLDC motors, mechanical systems (kinetics, angles), and electronics.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, procurement) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
o Drive innovation in energy efficiency, performance, and durability.
- Cost Control and Optimization
o Develop cost-effective design solutions without compromising quality or performance.
o Identify opportunities for material substitution, process improvements, and design simplification.
- Market Study and Benchmarking
o Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging trends and technologies.
o Ensure alignment of product portfolio with market expectations and brand positioning.
- Vendor Development
o Collaborate with vendors for component development, prototyping, and testing.
o Build strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability.
Skills and qualifications
- Qualification
o Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Experience
o 8–15 years of experience in R&D and product design, with a focus on consumer durables/electrical appliances.
o Proven expertise in BLDC motor design, mechanical systems, and electronics integration.
- Skills
o Ability to translate market insights into innovative product designs.
o Excellent vendor management and collaboration skills.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
o Familiarity with CAD tools, simulation software, and product testing methodologies.
