About the Company
A leading FMCG manufacturing organization based out of Bangalore.
Roles and Responsibilites
Develop and implement the overall IR strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring a stable and productive industrial environment across manufacturing locations.
Lead negotiations with unions, manage long-term settlements, handle disputes, and maintain constructive relationships with worker representatives and key stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance with labor laws and industrial regulations. Represent the organization in conciliation proceedings, labor courts, and statutory forums as required.
Proactively identify potential industrial risks, manage grievances, prevent disruptions, and ensure swift resolution of disputes to minimize business impact.
Skills and qualifications
25–30 years of experience in Industrial Relations within large manufacturing organizations, preferably FMCG or other high-volume industries.
Extensive experience managing unionized environments and multiple plant locations.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, collective bargaining, and dispute resolution.
Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation capabilities.
The role will be based out of Bangalore, with significant travel involved.
