AI Engineer (5-7 Years)
About the Company
Our client is a rapidly scaling AI-first company on a mission to disrupt the global BPO automation landscape through advanced Voice AI and LLM-driven technologies.
Roles and Responsibilites
Develop, fine‑tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for high‑performance conversational and automation use cases.
Build and scale AI pipelines, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Work closely with the founders and engineering team to architect end‑to‑end ML systems for production workloads.
Enhance and optimize Voice AI capabilities, including speech recognition (ASR), speech synthesis (TTS), and real‑time inference.
Research and experiment with cutting-edge AI/ML methods across NLP, speech, multimodal and agentic systems.
Deploy models efficiently on cloud or on‑prem infrastructure, ensuring speed, accuracy, and reliability.
Contribute to building internal tools, frameworks, and reusable components across the AI stack.
Maintain clean documentation, MLOps workflows, and model observability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Skills and qualifications
5–7 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, preferably in startups or high‑ownership engineering environments.
Strong expertise in LLMs—prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, model evaluation, and production deployment.
Good to have: Voice AI experience (ASR, TTS, diarization, speech embeddings).
Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern ML tooling.
Experience deploying models using cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and optimizing for production.
Understanding of distributed training, quantization, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and model optimization techniques.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a Tier‑1 institute (IITs, IIITs, NITs, BITS, etc.) preferred.
Strong problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and willingness to work on-site at an early-stage company.
