Our client is a global developer-focused platform that helps companies assess and hire technical talent through coding challenges, skill tests, and programming competitions. It is widely used by enterprises and startups to evaluate developers’ problem-solving and programming abilities at scale.

Roles and Responsibilites

  1. Close & Financial Controls
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies
  • Perform Bank and Cash reconciliations
  • Oversee account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Perform reasonableness testing on P&L and balance sheet movements
  1. Intercompany & Global Accounting
  • Record and review intercompany management fees
  • Own intercompany entries and eliminations
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations across: US, UK, India, and consolidated books
  1. Compliance, Tax & Audit Support
  • Maintain and update the global compliance calendar workbook
  • Maintain strong documentation and audit-ready schedules
  • Assist with - US tax filings and coordination with tax advisors

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Clear communication with non-technical employees with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Attention to Detail: This role needs to be highly detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in processing sales incentives and monthly payouts.
  • Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage dual responsibilities across various functions like AP, Payroll, GL, and Bank while tracking numerous transactions.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: Maintain efficiency and accuracy in the accounting system
  • Integrity: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in related finance roles, with a solid understanding of multi-currency, multi-entity accounting principles.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with hands-on experience in NetSuite, and at least one AP or Payroll software.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to manage complex financial transactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Growth Mindset: Eagerness to learn and develop within the accounting and finance field.
