Roles and Responsibilites
- Lead brand acquisition strategy for the marketplace, onboarding high-potential consumer brands
- Identify white space opportunities across categories, geographies, and channels
- Drive revenue growth and margin optimization, ensuring sustainable unit economics
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with brands, distributors, and ecosystem players
- Leverage data and insights to inform category expansion and pricing strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and operations teams
- Own marketplace performance metrics including GMV, margins, and brand success
Skills and qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in business development, category management, or marketplace roles
- Strong background in e-commerce/marketplace ecosystems (e.g., platform-led businesses)
- Deep understanding of Southeast Asia (SEA) markets, including consumer behavior and distribution dynamics
- Proven track record of onboarding and scaling brands within a marketplace or platform environment
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, margins, and P&L ownership
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
