• Plant Leadership & P&L Ownership

Own and drive the P&L for the plant, ensuring revenue, cost, and profitability targets are achieved

Lead overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and dispatch

Align plant performance with broader organizational and business goals

• Manufacturing & Operations Excellence

Oversee sheet metal manufacturing operations, ensuring high productivity, quality, and efficiency

Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM) to enhance plant performance

Optimize capacity utilization, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE)

• Quality & Customer Delivery

Ensure adherence to stringent automotive quality standards and customer requirements

Drive defect reduction, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

Maintain high levels of on-time delivery and customer satisfaction

• Cost Optimization & Process Improvement

Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives across operations

Improve operational efficiencies while maintaining product quality

Monitor budgets, CAPEX, and cost controls

• Stakeholder Management

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including supply chain, sales, and finance

Act as a key interface with customers and senior leadership

• Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead and develop cross-functional teams to build a high-performance culture

Drive workforce planning, training, and succession development

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement

• Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to EHS standards and regulatory requirements

Promote a strong safety culture across the plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or related field
• 15+ years of experience in the auto component industry (Tier 1 background is mandatory)

Skills

• Proven experience in leading manufacturing plants with P&L responsibility
• Strong expertise in sheet metal operations and high-volume manufacturing environments
• Deep understanding of automotive quality standards (IATF/ISO) and process excellence tools
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and team performance
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
