About the Company

The client is a large scale building materials company with a strong market presence and a growing international footprint.

Roles and Responsibilites

  1. Business & P&L Ownership

o Drive overall profitability and revenue growth of the Glass Business

o Own and manage end-to-end P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization

o Identify new business opportunities and expansion strategies

  1. Manufacturing & Operations

o Oversee operations of 8–10 glass processing units across PAN India

o Ensure operational excellence, productivity improvement, and cost efficiency

o Implement best practices in manufacturing, quality, and safety standards

  1. Product Development & Innovation

o Lead development and enhancement of product portfolio including Decorative Glass, Laminated Glass, Ceramic Glass, Double Glazed / Insulated Glass Units (IGU)

o Drive innovation aligned with market trends and customer requirements

  1. Procurement & Supply Chain

o Oversee sourcing strategy and vendor management

o Optimize procurement costs and ensure uninterrupted supply chain o Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers

  1. Glass Trading Business

o Lead and expand the glass trading vertical

o Strengthening distribution network and channel partnerships

o Improve margins and working capital efficiency

  1. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

o Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams

o Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams

o Maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

Skills and qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Architecture
  • 15–25 years of experience in Glass Industry / Building Materials / Manufacturing

Skills

  • Proven experience in handling large-scale P&L and multi-location operations
  • Strong exposure to glass processing, manufacturing, and trading business
  • Demonstrated leadership in scaling businesses and driving profitability
  • Excellent strategic thinking, execution, and stakeholder management skills
