Roles and Responsibilites
- P&L Ownership & Business Reset
Diagnose profitability leakages across pricing, freight, duty structures, distributor terms, and product mix
Drive a country-wise turnaround plan with clear volume, value, margin, and cash targets
Prioritize top 5–7 LAMEA markets contributing maximum value and profitability
- Distributor & Credit Discipline
Re-evaluate distributors on volume, profitability, payment discipline, and brand investment
Reset commercial terms including advance payments, LC structures, and credit limits
Drive strict receivables governance in collaboration with finance
- Government & Institutional Exports
Lead government tenders, PSU, and institutional exports
Ensure zero compliance errors, accurate documentation, and milestone-based execution
Implement structured MIS for tender lifecycle, production, shipment, and billing
- Pricing, Margin & Cost Control
Rebuild pricing frameworks considering commodity volatility, freight, duties, forex, and risk factors
Partner with sourcing and SCM for cost optimization, localization, and packaging efficiency
- Governance, MIS & Execution Control
Establish a strong weekly business rhythm across orders, production, shipments, cash flow, and risks
Drive a single source of truth MIS across sales, SCM, finance, and compliance
Proactively identify and resolve issues with zero-surprise execution discipline
- Team & Culture Reset
Assess and strengthen export team capabilities, roles, and accountability frameworks
Build a culture of ownership, speed, and margin discipline
Act as a senior representative with distributors, governments, and institutional stakeholders
Skills and qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business
- 15+ years of experience in exports within consumer durables, electronics manufacturing, or mobility sectors
Skills
- Strong experience managing international markets (LAMEA preferred)
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and business turnaround
- Deep understanding of export regulations, distributor management, and institutional sales
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in pricing, margins, and cost structures
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
