Roles and Responsibilites

  • Lead category strategy, portfolio planning, and market positioning to drive sustainable growth.
  • Own P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability through effective pricing, promotions, and cost management.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to strengthen brand equity and consumer engagement.
  • Identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities to shape innovation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and finance teams to align execution with strategic goals.
  • Build strong retailer partnerships, negotiate terms, and optimize shelf presence.
  • Drive digital and e-commerce initiatives to expand reach and enhance customer experience.
  • Mentor and develop cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of performance and innovation.
  • Deliver measurable results in market share, revenue, and brand visibility.

Skills and qualifications

  • MBA from tier 1 colleges will be preferred (2008-2013 batches only)
  • 12–17 years of FMCG experience with proven category leadership
  • Demonstrated success in driving market share and revenue growth
  • Experience in both traditional retail and digital/e-commerce channels
  • Track record of leading high-performing teams and managing stakeholders
  • Experience in Brand Management will be valued
