The client is a large scale renewable energy organisation with businesses across IPP, EPC & solar cell & module manufacturing.

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead the complete lifecycle of the greenfield project—from feasibility, design, engineering, procurement, construction to commissioning.
• Develop and drive detailed project plans, milestones, and execution strategies.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Technical & Engineering Oversight

• Drive plant design, technology selection, and layout planning for solar cell and module manufacturing lines.
• Collaborate with global technology providers, EPC partners, and equipment suppliers.
• Ensure implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and automation.

Stakeholder Management

• Interface with internal leadership, investors, government authorities, and external partners.
• Manage EPC contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, procurement, finance, legal, and operations teams.

Procurement & Contracting

• Oversee sourcing and contracting strategies for critical equipment and services.
• Drive negotiations and finalize contracts with global suppliers and partners.
• Ensure supply chain readiness aligned with project timelines.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Drive best-in-class EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) practices across the project lifecycle.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership

• Build and lead a high-performing project team across multiple disciplines.
• Mentor and develop leadership within the project organization.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.

Transition to Operations

• Oversee smooth handover from project phase to operations.
• Support initial ramp-up, stabilization, and performance optimization of the plant.

• Experience: 20+ years in project management with significant exposure to large-scale greenfield manufacturing projects.
• Industry Background: Strong preference for Solar Cell/Module manufacturing, Semiconductor fabs, or high-tech electronics manufacturing.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, capital-intensive projects (₹5000+ Cr or equivalent scale).
• Deep understanding of manufacturing technologies, plant engineering, and project execution methodologies.
• Experience working with global technology providers and EPC contractors.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
