About the Company
Our client is a well-established consumer-focused organisation operating with a strong presence across major markets in India. The company is undergoing a significant expansion phase and is looking to strengthen its offline retail and franchise network across key cities.
Roles and Responsibilites
- Identify and evaluate potential markets, retail opportunities, and expansion plans across India
- Build strong relationships with mall developers, landlords, channel partners, and franchise stakeholders to secure strategic retail locations
- Lead end-to-end franchise development including partner identification, evaluation, commercial discussions, and onboarding
- Drive store expansion plans in line with business growth objectives and regional priorities
- Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing, finance, operations, merchandising, and retail teams to ensure successful launches and operational excellence
- Support franchise partners with business planning, regional marketing initiatives, and performance management
- Track store performance, analyze business metrics, and drive improvements across franchise operations
- Ensure alignment with brand standards, operational processes, and long-term business objectives
- Contribute towards annual business planning, forecasting, and ROI-driven expansion strategies
Skills and qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in franchise business development, retail expansion, leasing, or channel growth roles
- Strong understanding of the Indian mall ecosystem, retail landscape, and premium consumer brands
- Existing relationships with mall developers, landlords, and franchise networks would be preferred
- Experience working with premium retail, fashion, lifestyle, accessories, watches, footwear, or consumer brands
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to evaluate store viability and business opportunities
- High ownership mindset with strong stakeholder management and execution capabilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
