Roles and Responsibilites
- Develop and execute national sales development strategies aligned with FMCG growth objectives.
- Drive trade marketing initiatives to strengthen brand visibility and channel engagement.
- Lead adoption of sales automation tools to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Build and manage sales capability programs to upskill teams across regions.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of trade plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to refine strategies.
- Establish KPIs and performance dashboards for tracking sales development effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners nationally.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to regional sales development managers.
- Report directly to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
Skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in alcobev or premium consumer brands (preferred industries).
- Strong expertise in trade marketing strategy and execution at a national scale.
- Demonstrated success in sales automation adoption and driving digital transformation in sales processes.
- Skilled in sales capability building, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Track record of leading national-level roles with cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage distributor and retailer relationships across diverse markets.
- 12-15 years of work experience will be preferred
