The client is a leading Indian energy storage and battery technology organization focused on developing next-generation lithium-ion cell manufacturing and battery solutions for electric mobility and sustainable energy applications.

• Lead and manage multiple lithium-ion battery development programs across automotive, EV, and energy storage applications.
• Drive end-to-end program execution from concept, design, development, validation, industrialization, and mass production.
• Establish program governance frameworks, milestones, KPIs, risk management processes, and reporting mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, cell technology, battery systems engineering, BMS, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and supply chain teams.
• Manage customer-facing program reviews and act as the primary interface for key OEM customers.
• Ensure successful delivery of New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives.
• Monitor program schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and technical deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate program risks while driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams to achieve performance, safety, quality, and cost objectives.
• Support strategic planning for future battery technologies, manufacturing scale-up, and product roadmaps.
• Build and mentor a high-performing program management team.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in automotive, EV, battery, or advanced technology industries.
• Proven experience managing complex lithium-ion battery development programs.
• Strong understanding of battery cells, modules, packs, BMS, validation, manufacturing, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, battery manufacturers, or cell manufacturers.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and large-scale product development initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
