About the Company

We are working on a high-impact leadership mandate with a trusted legacy media brand that is investing aggressively to build a future-ready, digital-first organization. With a formidable digital footprint reaching millions of unique users globally and generating massive monthly video views, the brand commands significant social scale across major social media platforms. The organization is currently undergoing a substantial digital transformation, recruiting senior talent from leading publishers, OTT platforms, and new-age digital businesses to lead its evolution in the vernacular digital content ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilites

  1. Lead the end-to-end business strategy and P&L for the platform, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
  2. Define and execute the go-to-market strategy, user acquisition roadmap, and revenue growth plans.
  3. Build and scale multiple revenue streams including consultations, subscriptions, digital products, partnerships, and ancillary services.
  4. Work closely with product, marketing, technology, and operations teams to optimize user engagement, retention, and monetization.
  5. Establish growth frameworks across performance marketing, CRM, referral programs, partnerships, and lifecycle management.
  6. Develop key business metrics, dashboards, and operating cadences to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.
  7. Drive category expansion, new business initiatives, and strategic partnerships to strengthen market positioning.
  8. Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across business, growth, marketing, and operations.
  9. Create scalable processes and operating models to support rapid business expansion.
  10. Represent the business internally with leadership stakeholders and externally with partners, investors, and ecosystem players.

Skills and qualifications

  1. 12–18+ years of experience in consumer internet, digital platforms, marketplace businesses, subscriptions, gaming, media-tech, entertainment-tech, creator economy, or adjacent new-age consumer businesses.
  2. Proven experience scaling a consumer-facing digital business with ownership of revenue, growth, and business outcomes.
  3. Strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention, engagement, monetization, and lifecycle marketing.
  4. Demonstrated P&L management experience with a track record of delivering growth targets.
  5. Experience building businesses from early-stage or zero-to-one/one-to-ten growth phases will be highly preferred.
  6. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth and profitability.
  7. Ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments while navigating ambiguity.
  8. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and team-building capabilities.
