Lead and manage a team of engineers and engineering managers to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance platforms.

Drive architecture decisions for large-scale backend systems handling high transaction volumes and complex business workflows.

Partner closely with Product, Business, Analytics, and Leadership teams to align technology roadmaps with business objectives.

Build, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and excellence.

Improve platform scalability, availability, security, and operational efficiency through engineering best practices.

Drive cloud adoption and modern engineering practices across application development and deployment lifecycles.

Evaluate and incorporate AI-enabled capabilities, automation frameworks, and intelligent solutions where relevant.

Establish engineering metrics, governance, release processes, and operational excellence standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver business-critical initiatives within defined timelines.

Must-Have: -

10–12 years of overall experience in software engineering and technology leadership.

Strong hands-on background in Java backend development and distributed systems.

Experience building and scaling high-traffic, high-volume transactional platforms.

Prior experience managing engineering teams and leading end-to-end product/platform delivery.

Exposure to AI/ML-driven products, intelligent automation, GenAI initiatives, or AI-enabled technology solutions.

Experience working on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Strong understanding of system design, microservices architecture, APIs, performance engineering, and platform scalability.

Demonstrated experience working closely with product and business stakeholders.

Preferred: -

Experience with consumer internet, travel-tech, e-commerce, fintech, SaaS, enterprise platforms, or other large-scale product organizations.

Strong pedigree education from reputed institutions.

Exposure to modern data platforms and analytics-driven decision-making.

Experience leading teams of 5–10 engineers or larger engineering pods.
