CEO- Gold Loan
About the Company
A growing, diversified financial services group with an established NBFC arm, currently expanding its lending business and looking to build a large-scale Gold Loan franchise. The NBFC already has a multi-state presence, 80+ branches and a diversified lending portfolio across SME, business, personal and secured lending.
Roles and Responsibilites
1) Build and scale the Gold Loan business from scratch.
2) Own the P&L, AUM growth and overall business performance.
3) Develop the business strategy, product proposition and operating model.
4) Set up and expand the branch/distribution network.
5) Build the Gold Loan team across business, credit, operations and collections.
6) Define and implement credit, risk and underwriting frameworks.
7) Drive customer acquisition, disbursements and portfolio quality.
8) Establish strong processes, governance and controls for the business.
9) Identify new markets and opportunities for geographic expansion.
10) Work closely with the leadership team to build a profitable and scalable Gold Loan franchise.
Skills and qualifications
1) 15+ years of experience within NBFCs, with strong exposure to Gold Loans.
2) Proven track record of building and scaling Gold Loan portfolios.
3) Experience in P&L ownership, AUM growth and business expansion.
4) Strong understanding of Gold Loan credit, risk, operations and collections.
5) Experience in setting up branches and distribution networks.
6) Proven ability to build and lead large teams.
7) Strong understanding of NBFC processes, governance and regulatory frameworks.
8) Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business from scratch.
9) Strong stakeholder management and strategic leadership skills.
