A leading global manufacturer of high-performance specialty films, serving diverse packaging and industrial applications across international markets. • Lead end-to-end production operations across BOPET film and slitting lines, ensuring adherence to production plans and customer requirements.
• Own key production KPIs including OEE, throughput, yield, waste, downtime, line efficiency and plan adherence.
• Manage and optimise slitting operations, including jumbo roll handling, slit-width optimisation, winding, roll quality and finished-product handling.
• Drive reduction of process losses, trim waste, rejects and customer complaints.
• Ensure optimum machine utilisation through effective manpower, material and production planning.
• Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and R&D to resolve operational issues and improve plant performance.
• Lead RCA, CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives across production.
• Implement Lean / TPM / 5S practices to improve productivity, reliability and shop-floor discipline.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, ISO and statutory requirements.
• Develop SOPs, process controls and production standards and ensure adherence on the shop floor.
• Lead, coach and develop production managers, shift in-charges, supervisors and operators.
• Establish strong performance management systems and build a culture of accountability, safety and operational excellence.
• Support new product trials, process optimisation and technology upgrades.
• Prepare production budgets and control manufacturing costs in line with business objectives.
• Coordinate with Planning and Sales to ensure timely production and dispatch of customer orders.

• Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer, Plastics or related engineering discipline.
• Experience: 15–20+ years in BOPET film manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on exposure to film production and slitting/converting operations.
• Experience with high-speed film lines, winding, slitting, roll handling and packaging.
• Strong understanding of production KPIs, yield improvement, waste reduction and process optimisation.
• Experience managing large production teams in a continuous manufacturing environment.
• Strong exposure to Lean, TPM, Six Sigma / Kaizen and operational excellence.
• International / European manufacturing exposure would be an advantage.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• English proficiency is essential; knowledge of other European language would be an advantage.
