About the Company

Our client is a legacy, promoter-led Indian listed organisation with established brands and a significant operating footprint. The business is at an important inflection point, embarking on a financial and business transformation focused on restoring profitable growth, strengthening cash flows and building a more performance-driven organisation. The company is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to partner closely with the Promoters, CEO and Board and lead this transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end finance function across FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, audit, compliance and business finance.
• Drive the financial turnaround, with a sharp focus on profitability, cash flows, working capital, cost optimisation and balance-sheet strengthening.
• Partner with the Promoters, CEO and Board on strategy, capital allocation, growth initiatives and key business decisions.
• Strengthen financial planning, MIS, governance, controls and performance management across the organisation.
• Manage key external stakeholders including the Board/Audit Committee, banks, lenders, auditors and investors.
• Build a high-performing finance organisation and drive process, systems and digital transformation.

Skills and qualifications

• CA with 15+ years of finance experience, including significant CFO/Finance Director-level leadership exposure.
• Strong experience in listed and promoter-led organisations; consumer/manufacturing experience preferred.
• End-to-end expertise across business finance, FP&A, controllership, treasury, taxation, working capital and governance.
• Experience in a turnaround, restructuring or transformation environment would be highly preferred.
• Commercially strong, hands-on leader with the ability to work closely with Promoters and drive change across the business.
