Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the financial reporting and closure process, ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS.
• Strengthen accounting practices and internal controls, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and robust governance frameworks.
• Oversee statutory compliance and audits, including GST, TDS, and Companies Act requirements, while coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Manage cash flow and working capital, including receivables, payables, and cash flow planning to ensure financial efficiency.
• Drive process improvements and automation, implementing SOPs and scalable finance systems to support business growth.
• Build and lead the finance team, driving performance, accountability, and capability development.
• Partner with business and leadership teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

Skills and qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 3+ years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, and controllership roles.
• Strong experience in financial reporting, accounting, and internal controls, with exposure to audit and compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in FMCG or startup environments preferred, with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams, including performance management and capability building.
• Strong understanding of working capital management, cash flow planning, and financial operations.
• High analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership.
