About the Company

Our Client is a one of India's leading early-stage, technology-focused venture capital firms backing innovation across Consumer Tech, Enterprise AI, DeepTech, SaaS and FinTech. They are looking to hire an Investment Manager to join its investment team in Bengaluru.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Investment Sourcing: Identify, engage, and build a strong pipeline of promising investment opportunities of women-led startups. Build unique sourcing strategies.
• Investment Evaluation: Lead market research, business analysis, financial modelling, due diligence, and preparation of investment recommendations to present to the Investment Committee.
• Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio founders, track business performance, and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Programme Building: Take ownership of strengthening and scaling the Programme, developing initiatives that enhance its reach, relevance, and impact.
• Thought Leadership & Content: Drive thought leadership initiatives through industry insights, CXXO reports, founder stories, and curated events. Work closely with the marketing team to drive content for various social media platforms.
• Ecosystem Development: Build meaningful relationships with women founders, investors, accelerators, mentors, and startup communities.
• Strategic Initiatives: Drive impactful partnerships and community-building efforts that advance the programme mission.

Skills and qualifications

• Experience: 6 - 10 years in venture capital or the startup ecosystem, preferably with exposure to early-stage investments.
• Strong sourcing capabilities, analytical mindset, financial acumen, and commercial judgement.
• Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate business opportunities and engage
• confidently with founders.
• A genuine passion for championing women entrepreneurs and a strong personal commitment to enabling greater representation of women in the startup ecosystem.
• A builder's mindset, with the creativity, initiative, and ownership required to shape and grow a high-impact programme.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
