Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term architecture strategy, ensuring the platform scales effectively across customers, data volumes, AI workloads, and evolving business needs.
• Lead architectural decisions for platform services, data pipelines, AI/ML infrastructure, and deployment frameworks, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability at scale.
• Identify and address scalability bottlenecks, technical debt, and system vulnerabilities while establishing best practices for observability, resilience, security, and compliance.
• Design and standardize multi-tenant, cloud-native, and customer-hosted deployment architectures, enabling secure and repeatable implementations across diverse environments.
• Establish engineering standards and governance by leading architecture reviews, defining design principles, and ensuring consistency across systems, services, and data flows.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product, AI/ML teams, and customer stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while guiding critical technology decisions.

Skills and qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade software platforms, including 3+ years in senior technical leadership roles such as Principal Architect, Staff Engineer, or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, event-driven platforms, multi-tenant SaaS environments, and cloud-native technologies (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes).
• Proven track record of making and driving high-impact architectural decisions that balance scalability, performance, maintainability, and business objectives.
• Strong experience designing and optimizing large-scale data processing, document management, and data pipeline architectures handling both structured and unstructured data.
• Solid understanding of reliability engineering, including observability, fault tolerance, system resilience, SLOs, monitoring, and production readiness best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, influence cross-functional teams, drive architecture governance, and operate effectively in regulated and security-conscious environments.
