Senior Director - M&A

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, including opportunity sourcing, strategic evaluation, valuation, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and closure
• Front-end complex and cross-border transactions, working closely with global management teams, advisors, bankers, and legal partners
• Partner with the CEO, CFO, Board, and Business Heads to shape and execute the company’s inorganic growth strategy
• Build and manage relationships with investment banks, PE/VC funds, founders, and strategic partners across geographies
• Drive post-merger integration to ensure value realization and strategic alignment
• Develop industry insights, target pipelines, and investment theses aligned to long-term business objectives
• Evaluate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and minority investments alongside full acquisitions

Skills and qualifications

• MBA from a reputed institution with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience in M&A / Corporate Development, either within industry or Investment Banking
• Proven ability to front-end and execute complex, cross-border M&A transactions
• Deep understanding of valuation, deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiations
• Strong strategic thinking coupled with high execution rigor
• Ability to work closely with CXOs, Boards, founders, and external advisors across geographies
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skill
