Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Quality Engineering strategy, governance framework, and quality metrics across programs.
• Lead automation-first testing initiatives across web, mobile, API, enterprise, and AI-powered applications.
• Drive AI testing programs including GenAI validation, prompt testing, hallucination detection, bias assessment, and RAG validation.
• Build and scale modern test automation frameworks using Playwright and other industry-leading tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing QA and Quality Engineering teams.
• Champion Shift-Left, Shift-Right, DevOps, and Continuous Testing practices.
• Drive quality transformation initiatives focused on defect prevention, automation, and operational excellence.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to improve release quality, automation coverage, and testing efficiency.
• Support enterprise-wide adoption of AI-driven quality engineering practices.

Skills and qualifications

• Educational Qualification
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience
• 14+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and Test Automation.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale testing, automation, and quality transformation programs.
• Proven track record of managing global and distributed QA teams.
• Technical Skills
• Test Automation: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Appium, Robot Framework, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
• API Testing: Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Swagger/OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL, SOAP.
• Performance Testing: LoadRunner, k6.
• Mobile Testing: Appium, BrowserStack.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD.
• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
• Test Management: Jira, Zephyr, Xray, qTest, TestRail, Confluence.
• Security Testing Awareness: OWASP, SAST, DAST, API Security.
• AI Testing Expertise
• GenAI and LLM testing methodologies.
• Prompt engineering validation and evaluation.
• RAG testing and AI governance frameworks.
• Experience with tools such as LangSmith, DeepEval, Ragas, Promptfoo, OpenAI Evals, TruLens, and MLflow.
• Knowledge of model performance evaluation, fairness testing, explainability, and compliance validation.
