Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and implement both low-level and high-level architecture, ensuring design consistency across systems and services
- Own the complete product architecture lifecycle, from conceptual design through delivery and optimization
- Design and integrate microservices-based architectures, ensuring modular, scalable, and maintainable systems
- Seamlessly “wire together” multiple technologies, platforms, and services into a cohesive ecosystem
- Ensure non-functional requirements such as scalability, availability, performance, and security are built into all solutions
- Drive continuous modernization initiatives, reducing technical debt and improving system efficiency
- Establish and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with evolving business priorities
- Embed product thinking into architecture decisions, focusing on customer experience and business value
Skills and qualifications
- Core backend stack includes Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
- Strong exposure to event-driven systems using Kafka and caching mechanisms like Redis
- Experience integrating Python and Ai/GenAI/Agentic AI capabilities in to enterprise systems
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (Azure/GCP preferred), including migration and hybrid setups
- Current platform operates in a large-scale global insurance ecosystem, with ongoing evolution toward cloud-native architecture
- Strong experience in architecting and designing a large scale global distributed product/system
- Swift/Kotlin/Flutter/React and strong experience in architecting Mobile and Web applications

- Lead the overall product architecture function, setting direction and governance standards
- Manage and mentor a team of Solution Architects, fostering technical excellence and growth
- Act as the senior-most technical authority, providing guidance on complex architectural decisions
- Collaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure alignment with broader frameworks and standards
- Engage with senior leadership (CIOs, CTOs, business heads) to translate strategy into technology execution
- Drive strong alignment between business, product, and engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery

- Ability to evaluate and introduce new technologies or innovative use cases for existing systems

- Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record as a Technology Architect or Head of Architecture in complex environments
- Experience within product-based organizations, building scalable and customer-centric platforms
- Exposure to insurance or large enterprise ecosystems is highly desirable
- Strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver large, multi-functional programs end-to-end
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
