Roles and Responsibilities
The role involves leading a high-performing Data Engineering team, driving the technical roadmap and ensuring the performance, reliability and scalability of data platforms and pipelines. The individual will also mentor senior engineers, manage cross-functional dependencies and troubleshoot critical data issues.
Skills and qualifications
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of Data Engineering experience with strong system design and architecture expertise. Hands-on expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark/PySpark is a must-have, along with strong knowledge of AWS, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog and scalable data architectures.
