Chief Supply Chain Officer

About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing, technology-led B2B commerce organisation operating in a fast-paced and evolving market. The business is focused on building scalable capabilities across sourcing, fulfilment, distribution and customer delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Own and lead the end-to-end supply chain function, including network strategy, warehousing, fulfilment, inventory movement and last-mile delivery.
• Design and optimise a scalable FC/dark store, warehouse, hub and delivery network to support rapid business and geographic expansion.
• Drive operational excellence across warehouse productivity, throughput, space utilisation, order accuracy, dispatch and returns.
• Build and scale a reliable, fast and cost-effective last-mile delivery network, improving delivery TAT, OTIF, rider productivity and customer experience.
• Lead supply chain planning and execution for new city launches, fulfilment centre expansion and capacity creation.
• Own cost-to-serve and productivity transformation, identifying opportunities to reduce operational, transportation and manpower costs.
• Partner with Procurement, Category and Business teams to strengthen inventory availability, forecasting, replenishment and working capital efficiency.
• Drive technology, data and automation initiatives across supply chain operations to improve visibility, planning and decision-making.
• Establish robust SOPs, KPIs, dashboards and performance management mechanisms across locations.
• Build and lead high-performing, multi-location teams while developing strong leadership capability and a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Skills and qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Network Design and/or Last-Mile Operations.
• Experience in e-commerce, quick commerce, retail, FMCG, B2B commerce or large-scale distribution.
• Proven experience managing large-scale warehouse and last-mile operations.
• Strong experience in network design, capacity planning and new market/FC expansion.
• Experience managing large teams and multi-city operations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and entrepreneurial environment
