Roles and Responsibilities
The leader will spearhead multi-channel, SKU-, and size-level demand forecasting, design inventory norms, and lead the cross-functional monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP/IBP) process. Responsibilities include managing replenishment and channel allocation strategies, tracking inventory health and weeks-of-cover (WOC), driving liquidation plans for slow-moving stock to improve inventory turns, orchestrating new product launch plans, building decision-oriented analytics dashboards, and driving digital planning transformations while leading a high-performing planning team.
Skills and qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or Economics (with an MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics preferred) alongside 12–16 years of overall experience, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity within fast-paced D2C, apparel, omnichannel retail, or consumer goods environments. Essential skills include expertise in SKU/size-level inventory optimization, demand modeling, advanced data tools (Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, ERP/WMS/OMS), and strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and CXOs using data-driven insights.
