Senior VP - Business Finance | Bangalore or Chennai

Roles and Responsibilities

• Strategic business finance leadership, including partnering with BU heads, delivery, and sales teams.
• FP&A ownership, covering revenue, margins, utilization, cost optimization, and scenario modeling.
• Commercial finance and deal governance, including pricing, rate cards, contract structuring, and profitability analysis.
• PE-style value creation, including EBITDA expansion, working capital improvement, SG&A optimization, and dashboards.
• Leadership and stakeholder management, including mentoring the finance team and advising the CFO and PE sponsors

Skills and qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, or Strategic Finance.
• Strong background in global IT services, engineering services, digital transformation, or technology consulting.
• Prior experience in a Private Equity-owned or transformation-heavy environment is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of managing multi-geography P&Ls and global delivery models.
• Experience working with large enterprise clients.
• Demonstrated success in pricing, deal structuring, and commercial governance for large outsourcing engagements.
• Deep understanding of IT services financial levers such as utilization, pyramid optimization, offshore/onshore mix, rate cards, and delivery cost structures.
• Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, scenario planning, and data analytics.
• Expertise in revenue recognition, contract accounting, and global compliance frameworks.
• Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a reputed institution preferred, with strong leadership, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.
